This is an annotated data (or outputs) management plan template for a Wellcome grant application.

This document (available in .pdf and .docx formats) was created using DMPonline (University of Sheffield version), which provides templates for structuring major research funder DMPs. The document includes guidance text produced by the Digital Curation Centre (DCC), Wellcome and the University of Sheffield Library (see References below).

Wellcome advises that an outputs management plan should be clear and concise; proportionate to the scale of the outputs generated and their likely level of value beyond the project; focused on how outputs will advance potential health benefits; structured to address the key issues [in the template]. The plan should be reviewed and adapted as the research progresses to ensure outputs deliver the greatest health benefit.
