<p dir="ltr">This file contains raw data to accompany the paper "Creep curve measurement to support wear and adhesion modelling, using a continuously variable creep twin disc machine", DI Fletcher, S Lewis, Wear, Volumes 298-299, 15 February 2013, Pages 57-65. <a href="https://doi.org/10.1016/j.wear.2012.11.065" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://doi.org/10.1016/j.wear.2012.11.065</a>.</p><p dir="ltr">The dataset contains coefficient of traction (CoT) output from twin-disc rail-wheel contact simulation across a range of contact slip (%) conducted using the <a href="https://doi.org/10.1520/JTE12104J" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">SUROS machine</a> for contact conditions (D) dry, (W) water, (SL) solid lubricant, (SW) soap and water, (O) oil, (TG) track grease 1, (CG) track grease 2, and (LW) lignin in water. The CG dataset contains an additional column for time (s) over which the test took place. </p><p dir="ltr">Please cite the <a href="https://doi.org/10.1016/j.wear.2012.11.065" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">Wear paper</a> in any use of the data. </p><table><tr><td><p><br></p></td></tr></table><p></p>
