A peer support WhatsApp group was created for folk organisers. The group was established by Access Folk staff but is intended to be self supporting by its own members/group admins with Access Folk staff input gradually withdrawing over the first 6 months of activity. Volunteers for group admin roles were drawn from attendees at a daylong workshop (see below for materials related to this) - five people were selected. Group members were added incrementally - initially drawn from attendees at WP26, other Small Project Grant holders and people who have been previously involved with Access Folk. Recruitment then moved to members’ wider networks and finally promotion to other folk organisers. The aim of the FON is to provide a space for organisers to share information/discuss issues related to access at their events.

This submission includes the Etiquette Statement governing the group and two promotional recruitment images.

All the available items arising from the project are available in the Access Folk Collection.
