The study combined at a UK-scale: a 5-year citizen science project (Measure Your Harvest: myharvest.org.uk) collecting own-grown F&V yield data, with crop choice mapping and spatial modelling to estimate national-scale crop production in allotments, the primary areas of urban horticulture in UK cities. MYHarvest project was granted ethical approval by the Department of Animal and Plant Sciences (now School of Biosciences) of The University of Sheffield (project ref. 144905).</p>
