The sandeel dataset was created by joining the Q3 North Sea International Bottom Trawl Survey (IBTS), Q3 North Sea Beam Trawl Survey (BTS), Q1 North Sea IBTS and the North Sea Sandeel Dredge Survey (NSSS). The sprat dataset was created by joining the Q3 North Sea IBTS and the Herring Acoustic Survey (HERAS).
