Contents

  • S1 Ease of understanding ANONYMISED DATA
Data from Study 1, where participants rated the ease of understanding of three alternative items for each of 14 constructs. Values represent ease-of-understanding ratings (Likert scale 1=easiest to understand, 3=hardest to understand).

  • S2 Reliability ANONYMISED DATA
Data from Study 2, where participants rated 42 items (3 per construct) to assess internal consistency and item reliability. Values represent awareness attribution ratings (Likert scale 1=least aware, 5=most aware).

  • S3 Validation ANONYMISED DATA
Data from Study 3, where participants rated different entities (rock, robot, dog, human) using the final 14-item scale. Values represent awareness attribution ratings (Likert scale 1=least aware, 5=most aware).
