<p dir="ltr">This report summarises a qualitative study conducted to inform the development of the AD-DELTA2 checklist. The study explored research stakeholders’ perceptions of how sample size should be reported in adaptive design (AD) trials through semi-structured interviews with professionals involved in trial design, conduct, funding, or review. Thematic analysis identified key considerations and expectations regarding sample size reporting. The findings informed the refinement of the AD-DELTA2 checklist and its accompanying Explanation and Elaboration document.
