The aim of this project was to adapt methods developed by Roots and Futures to trial ways of engaging with a place-based community that enhance and evidence effective social cohesion. We used themes of heritage, belonging and identity in mixed method collaborative engagement with local people, working explicitly with the host community, not just the migrant community.</p><p dir="ltr">This project received University of Sheffield Ethics approval as project number 068387.</p><p><br></p>
