Full GitHub repository containing R and RMarkdown scripts that were used for the data processing in the project 'A letter intervention to GPs practices to promoting prescription uptake in school-age children with asthma during summer holidays' (TRAINS) study.

Created in 2022-2023 and used to process CPRD Aurum data extracted in May 2022 that had the main inclusion criteria of 'School-age children, aged between 4 and 16 years old as of 1 September 2021, with a coded diagnosis of asthma, who had been prescribed asthma preventers medication during the past 12 months'.

Independent Scientific Advisory Committee (ISAC) approval was granted for Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) database research (Protocol Reference ID: 21_000436)
