Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) (which are also known as Sustainable Drainage Systems, or SuDS) offer a new approach to managing water. Whether they are focused on drought, pollution, or flood risk, they alter the places where communities live, work, or enjoy themselves. Communities therefore should have the right to input to their design in their area.  This guide has been developed to offer ideas for water practitioners to enhance community engagement related to NBS.
